Movement - Body consciousness - Capoeira - Parkour - Acrobatics - Contemporary Dance Workshops, Classes, 1 to 1, Retreats
Our teaching is highly inspired by the idea of inclusion, ethical approach to students and awareness of the group dynamic. We are prioritising the creation of a safe space for the students to learn and explore their bodies, strengths and weaknesses.
As both of us are multidisciplinary movers, we would like to share with you some examples and insights into our training which helped us create bodies able to adapt to various physical challenges and movement stimulus.
Our work is the result of over 15 years of research and physical practice within many different movement cultures. Using mediums such as Parkour, Freerunning, Soft Acrobatics, Floor Work, Release Technique, Flying Low, Contemporary Dance, Contact Improvisation and some Capoeira concepts of playfulness. We explore the body in the relation to self and others. The aim is to introduce the possibility for building a universal and adaptable body without gender. We look at the importance of breathing, physical and internal space, mental preparation, the psychosomatic system and the anatomy to search for the most effective way to use the body in specific situations.
We encourage a friendly environment, research, play and challenges, whilst looking into the different possibilities for self improvement and expression. And our training is open and approachable to anyone.
